Our business practices

Most of our effort goes into providing the best possible product for our clients. The rest of our effort is expended on providing the best possible working relationship and service to our clients.

In order to keep this relationship as transparent and reasonable as possible, we have set these terms of service.

E-mail and web site contact

Ddg does not make public the e-mail addresses of its clients and/or any interested parties visiting the site. Ddg does not send unsolicited email to any site visitors. Ddg will respond to direct inquiries only.

This site does not require (or rely upon) the acceptance of cookies for purposes of access/viewing its contents. The only information gathered by ddg is that which is automatically collected by the web server's log files.

Such information is used by ddg to gather intelligence on (for example), traffic rates, operating systems, referring sites, search engine referrals and browser type. This data is used to track ddg's visibility, and to help us to ensure that our site is as compatible with as many different browsing technologies as possible and that it remains visible to current and potential clients.

Client confidentiality

All of our client source material is stored off line. We operate a secure extranet for our clients' use. Client source material submitted to us through our extranet portal is immediately logged and a notification is sent to us. We remove any uploaded files as quickly as we can and store these files off line.

Temporary files, samples, status information and content will be displayed on our extranet for client review and/or approval. Clients are given a specific period of time to access these files. Files are removed from the extranet on their die date.

Ddg maintains a separate public download file space for files that we freely distribute.

Invoicing

All invoices are net 10 days, payable in United States dollars. Outstanding balances will incur a 10% per month interest charge on the total of any outstanding balances after 45 days have elapsed. Interest for the outstanding previous balance shall be billed out on the next invoice issued. After 60 days, ddg reserves the right to deny service to any client failing to pay their invoice. Failure to resolve the matter of payment after 90 days shall be pursued in a court of law. Source files shall remain property of ddg until payment (principle and interest) are received in full and any associated legal costs (if applicable) have been repayed.

Out of pocket expenses incurred during normal production, i.e. travel, tolls, contracted services, stock media, etc., will be billed out at cost plus the time spent in sourcing the materials.
